Employability Division

Helping the unemployed find secure long-term employment is a key service offered by Inspire 2 Independence (i2i). 

If you are over 18 and unemployed, you may be eligible to access one of our courses. You will receive training and preparation focussed on building confidence, practical jobsearch and developing the skills needed to secure an interview and the right job.

Taught modules are activity-based and cover a wide range of skills and disciplines such as: 

     * Interview techniques
     * Time Management
     * Dressing for success
     * Focussed jobsearch
     * Health & Safety
     * Letter writing
     * Job Applications
     * Basic IT skills
     * Handling rejection
     * Positive attitude
     


Jobseekers create a Personal Development Plan and set goals to develop the skills necessary to succeed.

Everyone is given one to one guidance by a trained team of delivery coaches, job brokers and employment specialists. Inspire 2 Independence (i2i) has established ongoing links with major employers and is committed to helping individuals find the right job.

Job-focussed courses are offered by i2i to a variety of groups, including Lone Parents, Incapacity Benefit Claimants and courses for Ethnic Minorities based at football club venues, such as Blackburn Rovers and Wolverhampton Wanderers FC.
