Meet the i2i Heads

Head of Business Excellence
Cheryl has a wealth of experience in the employability and skills arena; working within the industry since 2006. She has successfully applied her expertise in audit, compliance and quality; continuously driving business improvements by working closely with operational colleagues at all levels. Cheryl has proven success in leading audits and inspections within Welfare to Work, including DWP, ESF and SFA, managing national teams to achieve results and effectively managing supply chain relationships as a prime and in a subcontracting capacity. The Business Excellence Division works within key strategic objectives across the breadth of commissioned contacts from implementation to evaluation. As part of this, Cheryl ensures that at all levels we promote fundamental values which underpin our business to enable us to deliver high quality provision and high performance as a result. The Business Excellence Division encompasses a range of support services to complement all of i2i operational delivery.

Head of Business & Commercial Development
David has a wide range of experience in both the Employability and Skills sectors. He spent 15 years implementing and managing a range of DWP, SFA prime and sub-contractor contracts across the North of England for Working Links and Reed in Partnership. He has also been involved in introducing welfare to work services to the Middle East where he successfully implemented both male and female Job Placement Centres in Saudi Arabia, as part of the Ministry of Labor’s Taqat Programme. David’s remit at i2i is to grow the business by expanding the range of services it provides, as well as the markets it works within.

Head of Partnerships, Contracts and Commercial. Midlands, Black Country and South
Gary has significant proven experience of contract management, joining the i2i group with over 20 years of commercial experience. Operating within a range of industries with a vast geographical coverage, as part of these roles he has a proven track record within partnership and commercial development. He can also demonstrate commitment and achievement to contractual targets working effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines, managing teams to succeed and achieve.

Michelle has a wide array of skills, knowledge and experience within the Welfare to Work industry with over 13 years experience in driving performance, improvements and mobilisation of new contracts across the business. She has a proven track record in delivering high performance levels operationally and has managed employer engagement and management teams across regional employability and skills contracts, achieving and exceeding outstanding performance and compliance levels. She has engaged key stakeholders during her time within Welfare to Work and has a clear passion and dedication to her colleagues and their individual development along with the continued growth of our business taking an operational lead on supporting the Business Development Team.

Head of Performance & Operations. Northwest & Wales
Tim commenced working within welfare to work and i2i over 10 years ago following graduation from a Sport Science degree in the University of Wales, Bangor. Starting as a job search adviser, Tim has progressed and developed successfully managing multiple programmes within skills, youth and employability. He has a wealth of experience in managing SFA, DWP and local authority funded provisions. Tim is performance driven with a consistent focus on ensuring the business performance is true, through a quality customer journeys and strict adherence to all areas of compliance. He has led and continues to lead employer engagement, management and sustainability teams and is often called on to lead performance improvement projects within the business. Tim is committed to excellence in all areas of the business and demonstrates this through his personal commitment to staff development and persistence in creating inspiring cultures within the teams, centres and regional areas under his leadership. Tim's particular interests are leadership, personal improvement and sport psychology and continues to develop these areas alongside his professional career.
