Meet the i2i Senior Management Team

Head of Commercial Development
David has a wide range of experience in both the Employability and Skills sectors. He spent 15 years implementing and managing a range of DWP, SFA prime and sub-contractor contracts across the North of England for Working Links and Reed in Partnership. He has also been involved in introducing welfare to work services to the Middle East where he successfully implemented both male and female Job Placement Centres in Saudi Arabia, as part of the Ministry of Labor’s Taqat Programme. David’s remit at i2i is to grow the business by expanding the range of services it provides, as well as the markets it works within.

Head of Legal & Human Resources
As Head of Legal and Human Resources, Stephen manages the legal affairs of the i2i group and more recently the Human Resources department. Stephen is a qualified Barrister having been called to the Bar at Lincoln’s Inn in 2005, and specialises in Corporate Law with disciplines in the fields of Company, Commercial and Employment Law. Stephen has extensive experience working within the Government and later moved into employed practice and successfully headed an expanding commercial department. The diverse mix of Stephen’s qualifications, skills and experience allows him to fulfil and enhance this challenging role and provide additional support to the business.

Head of Operations, Employability
Michelle has a wide array of skills and experience within the Welfare to Work industry with over 10 years experience in driving performance and improvement. She has a proven track record in delivering high performance levels operationally and has managed employer engagement and management teams across regional employability and skills contracts, achieving and exceeding outstanding performance and compliance levels. She has engaged key stakeholders during her time within Welfare to Work and has a clear passion and dedication to her colleagues and their individual development.

National Health & Safety and Information Security Manager
Tim has held senior positions in Quality Assurance and Corporate Governance within the Skills and Welfare to Work sector for several years. Prior to joining i2i, Tim had substantial experience in mainstream education in both the UK and Germany, culminating as headteacher of two schools over a ten-year period. He holds first and advanced degrees from the University of Leeds.

National Performance Manager, Skills Division
Sharon has more than 20 years experience and expertise in managing all aspects of skills contracts within the sector. Her experience includes 11 years working for the LSC, followed by five years working at a senior operational level with a Private Training Provider. Prior to joining i2i, Sharon worked for a national organisation, advising both FE Colleges and Private Training Providers on all aspects of quality assurance, funding, delivery and compliance within the skills and welfare to work sector.

Business Excellence Division Manager
Cheryl has a wealth of experience in the Welfare to Work sector and more recently within the Skills arena, working within charities and training providers within the industry since 2006. She has successfully applied her expertise in compliance and quality; continuously driving business improvements by working closely with operational colleagues at all levels. The Business Excellence Division now supports wider improvements by focusing a holistic reporting method driving the business forward assessing impact of service delivery against all areas of measurement, by applying proven mechanisms. Cheryl works determinedly to build and maintain relationships internally and externally with the aim of ensuring commissioner needs are met and exceeded. This approach is multi-disciplinary across varied funding streams and contracts. She has proven success in leading audits and inspections within Welfare to Work and SFA, managing national teams to achieve results and working on a range of commissioned contacts from implementation to evaluation.
