At the height of World Cup football in June, i2i featured in a television documentary by SBS-TV (Seoul Broadcasting System) looking at how football impacts everyday life at home and at work.
“The concept of i2i Football 5000 is very original, and is proof that football strategy can be used in real business for real people,” says Gina McDonald, co-producer for SBS-TV, one of the biggest TV channels in South Korea.
The station has exclusive rights to report on all World Cup related stories and set out to investigate the im pact that football has on life in the UK. A film crew visited i2i Head Office on June 17th to film staff and interview company directors and heads regarding i2i’s innovative welfare to work pledge, to help 5000 jobseekers into sustainable work by 2012.
“This is very inspiring and very original,” commented director Joon Ki Chung after hearing first-hand how lives had been changed and individuals helped to fulfil their potential.
The documentary will air on Korean TV this autumn.
