The story in full:

A two week pilot scheme is underway at the Old Trafford Stadium aimed at introducing i2i Coaching Academy to the whole of Manchester. The scheme is part of the Manchester JobCentre Plus Flexible Fund which targets those with multiple barriers to work. Twenty jobseekers were successful in their bid to sign up for the oversubscribed course which commenced on Monday September 27th.

Activities include six days of confidence and team building at the Old Trafford Stadium, the Power League Soccer Dome and Rock and River Outdoor Pursuits Centre, Mawdesley.

A range of modules being delivered during week two at i2i Boulton House Centre are designed to improve CV writing skills, interview techniques and presentation skills.

i2i's Richard Taylor, and Simon Cooper are heading up the initial pilot course alongside Marco Gabbiadini, i2i's Head of Sports and Public Relations, and will continue to monitor success against a target of 70% job outcomes, for a full twenty six weeks with ongoing one-to-one support at i2i's Boulton House Centre.

"This is a fantastic opportunity to work with jobseekers at a premiership stadium. It will not only benefit the short term and long term unemployed, but also the people of Manchester."

Richard Taylor - Regional Manager i2i
