Job Description:Inspire 2 Independence (i2i) specialise in working with people who face multiple barriers to improving their learning and work options. i2i have a wealth of expertise in managing programmes across the country assisting individuals to overcome their barriers to work and placing them into meaningful, sustainable employment.
We are looking for someone to be the driving force in delivering and designing programme content; you will enthuse and motivate people to progress towards employment and to progress in the workplace. You will play a key role in helping individuals to develop the skills that will make a real difference to their lives and their futures.
The ideal candidate will be self motivated with confidence and ability to work in a pressured environment. You will be predominantly working across three locations and travel will be required to each of these. These locations are Manchester i2i Centre, Manchester United Football Club and Crewe Alexandra Football Club. Additional travel will be required to the Bolton i2i Centre for the purpose of meetings and training. You must be able to challenge customer’s perceptions and attitudes whilst motivating them to achieve using the principles of guided discovery.
The main duties will include the delivery and evaluation of programme content to assist in identifying and overcoming customer’s barriers, to manage group and one to one sessions, to feed into the continuous improvement of programme content and associated materials to help drive performance and quality of provision. You will ensure that all activities are designed, planned and delivered effectively enabling learners to fulfil their potential and to assist in the achievement of contractual performance targets. It will be necessary to plan, prepare and complete all relevant documentation to ensure adherence to contract/quality compliance, Awarding Body and inspection requirements and to take ownership of personal continuing professional development (CPD) to maintain professional standards.
You will also be responsible for organising and monitoring Work Placements with employers which will include marketing these placements with set targets, undertaking Health and Safety checks within the workplace and supporting customers whilst on these placements.
