The Skills Support for the Unemployed was commissioned by the Education and Skills Funding Agency. The programme offers delivery of education and training that helps unemployed and inactive people to enter into employment and sustain employment.

i2i’s adviser will deliver detailed initial advice and guidance to identify an individual’s barriers to employment and skills gaps. The adviser will then design and deliver the right programme to meet the individual’s needs. They will then provide support to gain sustainable employment.

Skills Support for the Unemployed is a national programme from Education and Skills Funding Agency who are matching funds from the European Social Fund as part of the 2014-2020 European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme in England. The European Social Fund helps local areas stimulate their economic development by investing in projects which will support skills development, employment and job creation, social inclusion and local community regenerations.
