The Work and Health Programme is a Welfare to Work programme commissioned by the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP). It is designed to improve employment outcomes for people with health conditions or disabilities and those unemployed for more than two years.

Health 2 Employment will provide an initial assessment from a qualified Occupational Health Practitioners that has a good understanding of the breadth of disability issues. The practitioner will identify appropriate support options available to address the individuals’ needs and workplace barriers. The individual will then be referred back to their JCP adviser to gain further support.

Work and Health Programme is a national programme from the Department of Work and Pensions who are matching funds from the European Social Fund as part of the 2014-2020 European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme in England.
